About Me

Much of my professional experience has been based in Ottawa where I work in a fast paced, high stake news environment covering breaking news from Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court of Canada, other national institutions and community stories.

Throughout my time at News Talk 580 CFRA, I gained hands-on experience across all core newsroom roles, including news writing and presenting, live breaking news hits, producing, technical producing, and on- air weather and traffic reporting. These experiences have made me adaptable and confident under pressure and comfortable working with tight deadlines.

In addition to my radio background, I bring television experience from my work as a segment producer for CTV’s The Social, Canada’s #1 daytime entertainment program. In this role, I helped build daily show lineups, book guests, wrote scripts for hosts, and coordinated visual elements for broadcast. This experience helped me further my editorial judgement and ability to produce and write for TV or radio.

Alongside these experiences, I have developed extensive communications expertise through positions with Statistics Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency. Managing media requests, coordinating interviews and schedules, monitoring viewership and feedback and analyzing social media communication strategies.

These experiences have given me the opportunity to understand both sides of media, further enhancing my editorial judgement, content creation abilities, and understanding of audience engagement.
